Austin 4th most procrastinating on filing taxes

Austinites area waiting even longer to file taxes this year, moving from the nation's 11th most procrastinating to the fourth, according to Intuit Inc.

Taxpayers have less than four weeks left to meet the national April 15 deadline. Intuit (Nasdaq:INTU), the maker of TurboTax tax software products, tallied the number of people in large cities that filed in the final three days last year with the number still waiting this year payday loans.

Houston moved up from No. 2 to taking the top spot, followed by Chicago and New York. Others on the list included: San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles, Dallas and Las Vegas.
