Insured are not completely shielded

Even Americans who have insurance say they’re struggling to afford medical care, according to a survey sponsored by the AFL-CIO and Working America.

One in three say their families had to skip medical care because of cost, and a quarter had serious problems paying for the care they needed. This was despite about 80 percent of respondents having coverage.

In Missouri, 96 percent of respondents said they were dissatisfied with the cost of health care pay day loans payday loans in 1 hour. More than 60 percent said they were dissatisfied with the quality. Nearly half said they spent between $1,000 and $5,000 on medical costs and insurance premiums.
