Dogecoin, Avalanche and XRP fall 17% to 22% in 30 days, outpacing bitcoin's 5.7% decline

Smaller cryptocurrencies have fallen much more than bitcoin over the past month, according to daily closing prices from Coinbase Exchange.

Largest declines

Over 30 days, the largest declines among the six assets were Dogecoin (-21.6%), Avalanche (-19.4%), XRP (-16.9%) and Cardano (-16.7%). Solana fell 12.7% and Chainlink 8.5%. Bitcoin's decline was 5.7% (computed).

All of the assets also fell on October 22. Cardano fell 5.9%, Avalanche 5.6%, Chainlink 4.3% and XRP 4.2%, compared with 3.2% for bitcoin.

From the highs

Each asset's highest daily close in the data, which begins November 8, 2025, came on November 10, 2025 (computed). Dogecoin's close of $0.0787 compares with a high of $0.1817; XRP's $1.3074 compares with $2.5254; and Solana's $103.53 compares with $167.31.
